A couple of weeks ago I finally made it to Chicago for the first time! And while the weather was anything but cooperative, I still found a chance to continue what I hope to be an entertaining iPhonography series. In an earlier post I shared with you a few images from a recent trip to Boston. So, in the interest of keeping the series alive, here are some images from Chicago. All of the images here are taken on my iPhone 5s, with the exception of the final image in the post, which was actually taken from my hotel room window with my GoPro Hero 3. After shooting the image with the GoPro, I saved the image directly to my phone using the GoPro app, and edited the image once again with the Photoshop app for iPhone ( which I featured in an earlier post ), along with the images actually taken on the phone. I found Chicago to be a very photographic city, even with 19 inches of snow on the ground! For a gentleman from the south, snow of any kind is a rarity, but 19 inches is something you only see on tv! Nonetheless, I refused to let some frozen precipitation hold me back from seeing some of the city. Although I didn’t see as much of the city as I would have liked, I did hit some high points that I highly recommend, one being the Bean of Millennium Park, and of course the Art Museum! I do hope to get back to Chi-town and photograph the city some more, but I do plan to visit in the spring or summer next time! I will follow up this post soon with some images taken from a real camera and not just my phone, but I do hope you enjoy these!
